(A) Preparation before New Injection Mould Testing:

It is better to prepare the design and detailed analysis of the mould, and ask the mold technician to participate in.

The condition of mechanical cooperation
Check the mechanical coordination on the platform whether there any scratch, missing parts, loosen or other phenomenon. The action of mould moving platen as well as if there is a leakage of water way or pipe joints also need checking. In addition, the limit of mould opening should be marked on the mould.

Choose the suitable injection molding machine
① Injection weight needs to be enough for injection
② Distance between tie-bars is required to fit the mould
③ Abundant toggle stroke
④ Equipment and tools interfering should be ready
(B) Notice while New Injection Mould Testing:
1. Hanging process
①When everything is confirmed, the next step is to hang the mould. When hanging, attention should be paid to the clamping plates and the lifting of the die before the mould is opened, so as to avoid the loosening or breaking of the clamping plate and the die falling.
②After installation, the mechanical action of each part of the mould should be carefully inspected, such as the action of moving plate, eject pins, limit switch and so on. And the position of nozzle fits to the feeding port or not needs taking into consideration. The next point is the mode of mould closing. At this time, you should keep the pressure off the mould and focus on whether there is no smooth movement or sound in the manual and low speed closing movements.
2. The processing and running time needs long enough so as to stabilize the temperature of melting and hydraulic oil.
3. The mould temperature is the most difficult to master in short time test and future production. What’s more, the incorrect model temperature is easy to cause some problems to the sample size, luminosity, shrinkage, flow pattern and material leakage.
(C) After
New Injection Mould Testing:
Keep all the records of sample test during the test process, including the various pressure, melting, the temperature of mould and pipe and so on. In short, all the data will be saved in the future in order to obtain the high quality standard.
